High Times Accepts Bitcoin Investment

High Times Accepts Bitcoin Investment Leading Up to Planned NASDAQ Listing

By Janie Diaz and Robert Lundahl

High Times is excited to open its doors to the investor community in a new way, accepting Bitcoin as a form of payment for our Equity Crowdfund. High Times will be the first company to offer Bitcoin payments through the FundAmerica equity crowdfunding platform, which lowers the barrier to entry for investors and offers an opportunity to buy shares at a discounted rate to the planned NASDAQ listing.

High Times stays ahead of the trends investors care about, and is thrilled to announce this new way to pay for shares of its stock. In partnership with FundAmerica, High Times will be the first company to offer Bitcoin payment through its equity crowdfunding platform.

Pay for your pre-IPO stock with Bitcoin

Bitcoin through FundAmerica works simply and seamlessly to purchase stock through the High Times Regulation A+ offering. Buyers choose how much they would like to invest in US dollars, and the platform helps determine the amount of shares for the investor.

Next, buyers will select Bitcoin as the payment method on the High Times investor form, and the address for the High Times Investor wallet will be displayed. Additionally, the FundAmerica platform shows investors the estimated amount of Bitcoin they will need to transfer to the wallet for the amount of investment they would like to make. After a transaction is completed, the investors Bitcoin will be exchanged to USD for stock purchase within 24 hours.

Staying ahead of the curve with cryptocurrency in a pro-cannabis age

Given that cryptocurrency and blockchain technology are both now an integral part of the payment landscape within the digital space, investors will be excited about the option to use Bitcoin to invest in the High Times journey.

Because High Times is a mover and shaker within the pro-cannabis community and is rapidly moving into the investor market, the idea is to get investors excited about becoming shareholders in a movement that’s entirely different from any type of stock offering they have seen or considered before.

High Times will be the very first traditional stock offering ever to accept Bitcoin—that’s noteworthy and exciting to the investor community.
